Full face masks/ compressed air breathing apparatus


Objective
Participants are taught the knowledge they need to carry out care and maintenance work on Dräger full face masks and compressed air breathing apparatus.
Target group
Skilled personnel of professional, voluntary and works fire brigades, disaster prevention organizations and industry who are responsible for the care and servicing of respiratory protective devices.
Contents
The function and maintenance of the above devices is explained. Participants are taught how to carry out care and maintenance work with the aid of the documents which accompany the seminar, taking into account the guidelines and ordinances applicable to the target group in question.

Performance of the necessary activities to prepare compressed air breathing apparatus for reuse
Practical performance of maintenance work
Presentation of different ways of upgrading and converting the equipment types
Testing of the compressed air breathing apparatus as a whole, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and known user regulations

Note
The seminar does not cover the general overhaul of the sealed pressure reducer or the lung demand valve.
Upon request, participants can take part in the practical and theoretical tests (general overhaul of basic unit). A certificate will be issued if the participants complete this part of the seminar successfully. If not, a confirmation of attendance will be issued.
