Dräger Polytron GD 60
The Dräger Polytron GD60 is an intrinsically safe open path gas detector used for continuous monitoring of hydrocarbon gases in ambient air.
The system, suitable for indoor applications, uses microcontroller technology to convert an infrared signal to a 4 to 20mA analogue output from the Receiver unit. This signal is proportional to the quantity of gas present in the beam path.
The system comprises of a separate Transmitter and Receiver and has an operating distance from 6 to 60 metres. The GD60 is factory calibrated for either Methane or Propane.
An alignment module is supplied with the device which enables one-man commissioning to be carried out easily.
