Gas Detection and Warning Instruments
Portable instruments are a convenient, quick, reliable and precise means of continuously measuring oxygen and toxic and combustible gases and vapours. They measure and warn simultaneously.
Single-gas instruments like the microPac/O2 or PacIII/O2, for instance, give the user a rapid picture of the content of oxygen in the ambient air. The PacEx2 is used to monitor for explosion hazards caused by combustible gas/air mixtures, while multigas instruments monitor for and warn of up to five gas hazards simultaneously, e.g. Ex/O2/H2S on tanker ships or Ex/O2/ammonia on refrigerator ships.
