| Dräger decompression chambers are in daily use around the world, often in very harsh environments.
Wear and tear in these environments take their toll on the chamber components.
Technology has also advanced and lead to great improvements in lighting, communications, video equipment etc.
The chamber shell itself may still have many years of operational life however. By combining a refurbishment and upgrade to include new components such as fibre optic lights, miniature video cameras etc. A “new” chamber is created at a fraction of the cost of a total new unit.
