Among other things, a lot of dust develops during tunnel construction. Here the "worker" must be supplied with suitable dust protection. For this, Dräger developed Picco20, an light, reusable dust mask made of silicone or rubber with an exchangeable filter with the protection level FMP3. An inexpensive alternative to disposable masks, which are frequently used. However, Dräger's disposable mask Piccola (available in protection levels FFP1, FFP2 or FFP3) offers the advantage of small airway resistance with excellent protection effects.
