Mechanical warning devices
The mechanical low pressure warning is an independent module approved according to EN250. It actively informs the diver about the residual pressure when a specific residual pressure is reached in the compressed breathing air cylinder.
A piston starts pulsating and the diver is warned by acoustic, visual and tactile signals (vibrations) transmitted by the moving piston to the mask. In the dark, only acoustic and tactile warnings are issued. The mechanical low pressure warning is connected to a high-pressure output of the pressure reducer (first stage). The piston is attached to the visor of the full face mask.
